2026 Flying Bursary — Now Open

We’re delighted to announce that the 2026 Helping Wings Flying Bursary, proudly sponsored once again by Ports of Jersey, is now open for applications!

This bursary provides local residents who might not otherwise have the chance with the opportunity to embark on flight training, a life-changing experience that builds confidence, skills and unforgettable memories.

📍 Who can apply?

Open to disabled or disadvantaged local residents (over the age of 16) who are ready to challenge themselves and embrace the magic of flight.

📍 What’s included?

Sponsorship for flying tuition (worth £5000), working with expert instructors at Skywalker Flight Training and ongoing support from the Helping Wings community.

📍 Why apply?

Whether you’ve always dreamed of flying, want to build skills, or simply want to prove to yourself that you can, this bursary could be your runway.
