This day is for younger children (age 5-12)

A day full of fun with the highlight being a flight around the island and also offering rides in a vintage potato lorry, a visit from our magician, drawing for our St. Peter’s Church Christmas tree, face painting and of course the visit from Ports of Jersey Fire Service Team bringing their fire tender and a small training plane for children to learn to fly!

All the children taking part go home with their signed certificate and their goodie bag.

The events take place from the Jersey Aero Club where parking is available.

For each event, we expect an adult/carer to accompany the Helping Wings guests at all times including the flight.

All our events are subject to the weather and when sometimes commercial flights can go ahead, our limits do not allow us to fly – safety first!

Our pilots are volunteers and offer their time and aircraft free of charge to Helping Wings.  This means, of course, that at times, although we have accepted a booking, it may have to be changed or cancelled due to last minute issues.
