This is a fun event for any age. The day is split in two with the day starting with breakfast at the St Helier Yacht Club. The guests are then split in two groups – one group flying whilst the other group sails.

Lunch is served at both premises and in the afternoon, the groups swap over. Those who have flown get a chance to sail and vice versa. Everyone goes home with a goodie bag and a signed certificate.

Parking is available at the Jersey Aero Club.

For each event, whether a child or an adult, we expect an adult/carer to accompany the Helping Wings guests at all times including the flight.

All our events are subject to the weather and when sometimes commercial flights can go ahead, our limits do not allow us to fly – safety first!

Our pilots are volunteers and offer their time and aircraft free of charge to Helping Wings.  This means, of course, that at times, although we have accepted a booking, it may have to be changed or cancelled due to last minute issues.
